Dole Speaks Out on Sanford

July 5, 2009 (Washington) - Former Kansas Sen. Bob Dole is the latest Republican to call for South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford to resign as details continue to emerge about Sanford's extramarital affair with an Argentinian woman.

Dole spoke to the press in front of his residence at the Watergate Hotel in Washigton.

“If Bob Dole had done what Mark Sanford has done, Bob Dole would resign,” Dole said. “But Bob Dole would never do what Mark Sanford has done, because Bob Dole has been happily married and faithful to his wife Libby for 34 years.

"Bob Dole is happy with his wife’s breasts, and doesn’t need a foreign woman’s breasts and tan lines to become excited. Bob Dole just needs his current wife and a few Viagra pills. Bob Dole believes that Mark Sanford should do the right thing and resign as governor of whichever Carolina he's governor of. Maybe he can become the next spokesman for Viagra. Bob Dole will just be Bob Dole.”
