Senator Proposes Banning Sex Toys

Feb. 22, 2010 (WASHINGTON) - Republican Senator John Kyl of Arizona today proposed a national ban on dildoes and all other sex toys, saying that such devices “give women and homosexuals unnatural pleasure.”

Speaking on the Senate floor, Kyl said that sexual aids also threaten the natural union between a man and a woman.

“As a Republican, I believe the government should stay out of people’s lives—unless it’s their sex lives, and then we have a right to know what’s going on,” Kyl said.

“And sometimes, we like to watch,” he added.

In a rare show of unity, all Republican and Democratic Congresswomen joined openly gay Representative Barney Frank in opposing the measure.

“You go, girls!” said Frank.
